Friends for Life

Dinner at Big Fisherman Restaurant in Aransas Pass, Texas with our friends, Terry and Christine from Gillingham, Kent, England. We had just enjoyed a rodeo in Goliad, and had worked up an appetite for seafood. Terry couldn't believe how much seafood was piled on his plate when the waitress brought his dinner. They are truly great friends and a lot of fun. Page kit used is Friends4Life, and can be found at Digital Scrapbook Place.

The Aggie Bluebonnet

After we dropped the dogs off at the groomer's early in the morning, Bill and I decided to check out the wildflowers close to home before they were gone (about 2 more weeks). We were simply amazed to see the Texas Aggie (red to maroon in color) Bluebonnet in the yard of a very nice man, who told us all about the Texas Aggie Bluebonnet. Only a Texas Aggie would dream of changing the color of the state flower, and only an Aggie could pull it off.

Unforgettable Memories of You

Bill and I had such a wonderful time at the rodeo in Goliad, TX with new friends, Christine and Terry from Gillingham, Kent, England. This was their first trip to Texas, and we feel very honored that they came so very far to see us. A Time of Enchantment

What a captivating memory while visiting the King Ranch in Kingsville, TX. Journaling reads: The King Ranch sprawls across 825,000 acres of South Texas land, an area larger than the state of Rhode Island. While Visiting this lovely ranch, we saw a beautiful horse with her colt, who was a newborn. We were in awe of this magnificent moment, when the colt decided to stand up, and start her new life with her mom.

WANTED

This is our good friend, Terry, from England, who was visiting us the week of 3/12/10. He and Reno had a good time together each evening, and Terry would tell Reno each night that he was going to take him back to England to meet Maisy, Terry and Christine's chocolate Lab. If we can not find Reno, we will know where to look.
