The Boys

A bonding time with boys only in the back yard.

Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas

I loved the turquoise water in the Bahamas. Only wish we had water like that in the Coastal Bend area.

Tranquility

Sunrise in the Marriott dining area. Enjoying coffee and a breakfast buffet before going to spend the day at Universal Studios. The tranquility of the morning was so wonderful.

What an Honor

This was Bill's big day in Austin. He was presented the Oil Spill Prevention & Response award from Jerry Patterson of the Texas General Land Office. Even though I had only been at my new job for 5 weeks, my boss let me go to Austin with Bill. One thing that I always remember about this day: we were watching tv in the cafeteria before the awards ceremony, and noticed that the Dow Jones had reached 14,000.

Presidio La Bahia

I didn't used to like history when I was young, but the history in Goliad is so fascinating that I love visiting all the historical sights there, and reading about all that happened in this quaint and lovely town in the 1800's.

Wonder and Beauty Under the Sea

What a beautiful feeling being able to see colorful fish and the reef below! Our guide, Ricardo, took us to three different areas to snorkel. He went to the bottom to show us an eel near a rock. After snorkeling, he served sodas and margaritas on the glass bottom boat.

Naturally Beautiful

Roatan was so beautiful. These are just a couple of the many beautiful pictures we took while touring this gorgeous, tropical island.

Hiking the Trail

Lost Maples is our favorite state park in Texas. We love the long trails, and since we usually love to go in the winter , we usually enjoy a lot of seclusion. The beauty of this park keeps us coming to the hill country again and again.

Once Upon a Starry Night

Ringing in the holiday season at the annual Christmas party in the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel ballroom. Great food, wonderful music and dancing, and Omni friends made this a memorable evening.

My Valentine, Chelsea

She was the most beautiful, loyal, loving, faithful, and perfect dog that I have ever known. I still miss her and think about her a lot. This precious little girl will never be forgotten.

Unwrap The Magic

Taking a moment for a Christmas photo before we begin our holiday evening.

Seaside Escape

A fun day at the beach in Port Aransas, Texas. It's always fun to look for sand dollars, watch the big ships coming through the ship channel, watch the antics of the pelicans, especially on the jetties, admire the beautiful dolphins, and act like a couple of silly kids.

Waiting for the Water Taxi

A relaxing moment waiting for the water taxi in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Roatan Moments

This was such a beautiful spot in Roatan, Honduras. It was an out of the way area where there were no other people from the ship... only our guide, Juan Carlos Mejia, me, and Bill. There was a lot of volcanic rock around us, and a walkway that led to a little pavilion that had water rushing underneath it through a big cut in the rock. The locals came there to dive from the top of the pavilion into the water. What a wonderful guide Juan Carlos was. He did not speak English real well, but he tried really hard to get to know us, and told us a lot about himself and his little girl. Most people on the Honduran island of Roatan speak English, but he was originally from the mainland of Honduras where they speak mostly Spanish.

Aransas Wildlife Refuge

Beautiful view at the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. We love to visit frequently, because the quiet beauty is such a paradise. We always see alligators (sometimes on the road), deer, javalina, armadillos, various birds, turkeys, and beautiful flowers.

Kiss Me - Florida Memories

Various memories from our 2003 Excellent Adventure.... dancing in Key Largo to the song "Key Largo" on my birthday, a kiss in Epcot at the moment of a full eclipse of the moon, enjoying the famous milkshake at Johnny Rocket's in Ft. Lauderdale (notice the funky braids, which were done in the Bahamas), and capturing the moment at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Brady saying "Cheese"

Showing off for the camera in Memorial Park, Rockport, TX. The picture on the left was when he Brady was little younger.

Omni Friends

Having a great evening with my co-workers at the Omni Hotel. We got an "Excellent" on our annual finance audit, so the Finance Director treated us to an evening at the Republic of Texas.
The only AAA four-diamond restaurant in south Texas, this a multi-level rooftop restaurant offers delicious culinary flavors, including steak and seafood entrees. We enjoyed the finest steaks, tasted all the appetizers, salads, and tried all the desserts on the menu. David Crawford, the piano player was amazing, and the view of the bay from the 20th floor was so awe inspiring.

Diane and Bill's 2003 Excellent Adventure

Couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a photo with Florida oranges. This was taken at Epcot.

Beautiful Bichon

Looking cute for the camera.

Vacation Fun in Orlando

A quick stop by the fountain to capture a memory.

Foul Weather Day

Not a scrapbook page, but a cool video. Enjoying the high seas on the last day of our 2006 Caribbean cruise, which was the only foul weather day.

Simple Texas Beauty

Bill thought this spot in Rockport was worthy of a photo and scrapbook page. He thought it was very interesting that a chimney would be standing alone.

Texas: Endless Summer

Taking advantage of being away from work on Good Friday. This is a beautiful spot next to Rockport Beach.

Easter Weekend Fun

Just hanging out near the water in Rockport on our day off, and enjoying being away from work.

Mardi Gras at the Civic Center

Great party at the grand opening of the Civic Center. The food was amazing! We had plenty of different types of seafood, Dirty rice, muffaletta sandwiches, lots of fresh fruit, King cake, and the best part of the food was watching the chef make flaming Bananas Foster in rum. The band was excellent, too. What a fun evening.

Mardi Gras 2

There was a photographer at the party taking pictures for the newspaper, and she chose to put our friends, Captains Fred and Hope, Bill, and me on the front page of the Coastal Bend Herald. Unfortunately, she put the wrong name for me.

The Angel of Goliad

What a lovely sight in beautiful, historic Goliad. She sure was one brave and heroic woman.

Kreuz Bar-B-Q

We stopped at this fabulous barbeque market and restaurant on our way back from Austin. Bill had just been presented with the Oil Spill Prevention and Response award from the Texas General Land Office in Austin, hence the white shirt while eating barbeque. We really enjoyed watching the fire pit in the back, and eating our food on brown butcher paper.

Bear

Not a good digital scrapbook kit, but had to try it because it was Texas. This is one of the girls that comes to the fence to visit us. Bear and her sister, Dandy love to come see us when they hear our voice.

Bill's Parents at Our Wedding

A special moment with Bill's parents on our wedding day. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know them for a short while before they went to their forever home in Heaven. I'll always remember how much they loved coming to the coast to go fishing.

Wedding Day

What a special day marrying my best friend. I will never forget how handsome he looked.
We were married in the First Baptist church in Portland, TX

Beloved PJ

This page is a tribute to our beloved PJ. We bought you a Best Friend pendant to wear on your collar, because you were so loyal and loving. "PJ, we miss you so very much."

My Best Friend

Nothing finer than Best Friends enjoying time together on a boat. This was when we had the SeaRay.

Beautiful Magnolia Bloom

This photo was taken in our back yard when we lived on Houston St. What a beautiful tree and lovely smell when it was in full bloom.

Second Dog

We got Reno several months after our beloved PJ (Pamana Jack) went to Heaven, but he certainly is not less important. He has so much love to give everyone he meets.

Belize Ziplining

We had a lot of butterflies in our stomach when these photos were taken, but when we were ziplining to each platform and viewing a beautiful rainforest below, we knew that we would love to do it again.

Belize Adventure

This photo was taken on our way to Ziplining and Cave Tubing in Belize. What a great anniversary present and awesome adventure!

Memories in Orlando

Here we are clowning around in Epcot. This was part of our 2003 Excellent Adventure, which included Bahamas, The Florida Keys, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Orlando.

Let It Snow

Here's our little 9 mo. old Brady enjoying the miracle Christmas snow of 2004. Notice the ice balls on his feet. They were stuck so badly to his fur, that we had to get a blow dryer to melt them.

Joy To The World

All dressed up for a wonderful holiday evening.

Enjoying Time with Katrina Victims

Such beautiful and loving dogs (every single one of them). Wish we could have taken them all home.

Katrina Animal Disaster Team

This was a fun and rewarding day to help victims of Katrina find forever homes.

A Voice For The Animals

Talking to the public about spaying and neutering, and helping place Katrina victims in a loving home was such an honor.

My Valentine

Even though the picture was taken in Dec., we thought it was the perfect picture to create a Valentine gift for each other. We got it printed through Scrapbooks Please for our scrapbook album. This company does excellent work, and the colors are very rich.

Hooked On Fishing

Fishing on the Captain Clark is such a blast! We would go in the spring when the Drum are running. They are about 35-40 inches on average. Catching fish and the spray in your face..... that is always a REEL great time.

Our Beautiful Bichon

This page is of our little Brady, a Bichon Frise.

Thanks for looking.

Nature at its Finest

This is our favorite place in Texas to get away from it all. We love the hill country and the solitude of Lost Maples State park in the winter, and the cabins nearby. I would call this area "Texas Heaven."

Our Clown

This little boy is always full of surprises. He is a hunter, who is always chasing squirrels, birds, horses, frogs, and occasionally a raccoon. He is also a clown, who does mischievous things that constantly make us laugh. So glad I found this wonderful little boy on Petfinder.com.

Be My Valentine

This is Reno's famous smile that I first saw on Petfinder.com that made me fall in love with him.

Got Mud?

We found out that when you mix a white puppy and a pile of mud, this is what your're going to get!
