Along Came You

I just love this page with Bill, who "came along" into my life. He looks so great in these photos that I took of him in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The top photo was taken on a water taxi that took us along a river walk, which had so many spectacular homes along the way. The bottom photo was taken at Johnny Rockets, where we had the famous Johnny Rocket's milkshakes.

My granddaughter, Faith, at the Shrine Circus in San Antonio (Sept.10) with her clown friend. I didn't have a nice circus page kit, so I just used bunch of background papers from various kits.

A Moment Like This

A gorgeous moment arriving in Seattle early in the morning on the Star Princess. July 4th

Went to see the tall ships on display for the 4th of July celebration in Ingleside, Texas. There were several one-of-a-kind ships from around the world. Very fascinating and beautiful! Had a great time, but as usual, the heat was hard to take after about 45 minutes. Page kit used is Pam Lefors Happy Fourth mini kit.

Enjoying the ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route Train in between Skagway, Alaska and Canada. The scenery was spectacular, the adventure just a little scary when the train traveled along the very edge of the mountain. Captivating Butterfly

This stunning butterfly in all it's glory was one of the many photos we took at Memorial Park in Rockport, TX on Memorial day, 05/31/10. We saw so many "critters" and insects that day, and they all seemed to be very used to having people near them. The Look - My New Haircut

I was really scared when I asked my hairdresser to chop a lot more hair than my usual shoulder length. When all was said and done, I think I was pleased with the outcome. This was my new look for the Alaskan cruise that we would be taking on 9/13/09. Page kit used is A Young Mans Fancy by Erica Belton.

Friends for Life

Dinner at Big Fisherman Restaurant in Aransas Pass, Texas with our friends, Terry and Christine from Gillingham, Kent, England. We had just enjoyed a rodeo in Goliad, and had worked up an appetite for seafood. Terry couldn't believe how much seafood was piled on his plate when the waitress brought his dinner. The Aggie Bluebonnet

After we dropped the dogs off at the groomer's early in the morning, Bill and I decided to check out the wildflowers close to home before they were gone (about 2 more weeks). We were simply amazed to see the Texas Aggie (red to maroon in color) Bluebonnet in the yard of a very nice man, who told us all about the Texas Aggie Bluebonnet. Only a Texas Aggie would dream of changing the color of the state flower, and only an Aggie could pull it off.

A Time of Enchantment

What a captivating memory while visiting the King Ranch in Kingsville, TX. Journaling reads: The King Ranch sprawls across 825,000 acres of South Texas land, an area larger than the state of Rhode Island. While Visiting this lovely ranch, we saw a beautiful horse with her colt, who was a newborn. We were in awe of this magnificent moment, when the colt decided to stand up, and start her new life with her mom.

WANTED

This is our good friend, Terry, from England, who was visiting us the week of 3/12/10. He and Reno had a good time together each evening, and Terry would tell Reno each night that he was going to take him back to England to meet Maisy, Terry and Christine's chocolate Lab. If we can not find Reno, we will know where to look.

Port Aransas, Texas

What an adventure with Terry and Christine, our new friends from England. We went to the jetties to watch the boats, people, and pelicans, and then went to Roberts Point to watch dolphins and a lot of people fishing. Christine and Terry...... you are so much fun!

Adventure in Alaska

Journaling reads: Photographer Bill capturing the most beautiful scenes on the planet. He was so excited going through the Fjord that even the wind, rain, and cold could not keep him inside the ship. He was outside every moment of the 5 hr. scenic cruising.

Wonders

I was thrilled to see this very large alligator sunning himself at the edge of the pond as Bill and I hiked the trail at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in Austwell, Texas. He was in the perfect position for awesome photos.
