The Feast

Wow, this was a great feast at The Boiling Pot in Fulton, Texas. We have lived in the Coastal Bend since 1996, and I don't know why we haven't tried this restaurant before. It was fun having all the food dumped in front of us at the table. These are just a few of the many pictures we took of our fun evening with our daughter, Dianna; her husband, Patrick (and his mom, sister and brothers); and granddaughters, Faith and Grace. Isn't Grace adorable with the crab claw in her mouth?

Thank Heaven for Little Girls

Our beautiful little granddaughter. She is so adorable, funny, and a real joy to be around. She had just spent the day at the beach before this photo, and still looks like a little angel.

Fourth of July

These are a few of Bill's photos from our Fourth of July evening in Port Aransas, Texas. What a great job he did of capturing the beauty and color of our holiday evening.

Memories By the Sea

Our first port on our 2006 Caribbean cruise was Costa Maya, Mexico. These photos were some of the first views we had upon arriving. It was breathtaking! It would be a dream come true to have crystal clear turquoise water like that at home in the Coastal Bend. We loved the thatch roof huts.

Aransas Lighthouse

This is the Aransas Lighthouse in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Paradise Found

Here are a few views of Costa Maya after we got off of the ship. Costa Maya was also the first port on our 2006 Caribbean venture. The other ports we traveled to were Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico. Costa Maya was a beautiful paradise in some areas, and very primitive in other areas.

Easter Sunday

We decided to go to the Easter Sunday service at the movie theater in Portland, Texas. It was great. When we first arrived, some very, very friendly and kind people welcomed us, and talked to us until the next service was about to start. There was a lot of breakfast types of foods, coffees, and hot chocolate in the lobby to munch on while socializing before the service. They even had a chocolate fountain and pineapple, strawberries, bananas, and cake to put into the chocolate. It was a very nice service, and warm and friendly atmosphere.

West of Key West

After a great seafood dinner at West of Key West, we noticed the beautiful sun as we were leaving. This lovely photo was a great start to our Easter weekend.
