Bill just happened to notice that this little guy was popping his head in and out of the hole of his tunnel. Even though I have always seen gopher mounds in both of our yards, I have never seen a gopher do this repeatedly before. Once again, Bill's timing was just right. We were walking a circle around the Big Tree in Lamar when Bill noticed him, and captured a photo of The Elusive Gopher.

The Elusive Gopher
Bill just happened to notice that this little guy was popping his head in and out of the hole of his tunnel.
