Seaside Serenity

Our first day at sea on the Grand Princess. Ports of call were Costa Maya, Mexico; Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico. This was our 10th anniversary Caribbean cruise, and we were enjoying every moment.

Memories By the Sea

Our first port on our 2006 Caribbean cruise was Costa Maya, Mexico. These photos were some of the first views we had upon arriving. It was breathtaking! It would be a dream come true to have crystal clear turquoise water like that at home in the Coastal Bend. We loved the thatch roof huts.

Paradise Found

Here are a few views of Costa Maya after we got off of the ship. Costa Maya was also the first port on our 2006 Caribbean venture. The other ports we traveled to were Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico. Costa Maya was a beautiful paradise in some areas, and very primitive in other areas.

Taking a brief moment for a picture at the beach before leaving Costa Maya. We had a wonderful time touring the Mayan Ruins, and checking out all the colorful shops. The turquoise, crystal clear water was unbelievably beautiful.
