While on our Alaska Cruise, we stopped at the Port of Ketchikan. We visited the Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary, and had hoped to see a black bear, since the guides had been spotting them on most of the tours. Unfortunately, we did not see a bear, but saw huge opening in some of the trees, where the bears hibernated. We also saw reindeer, salmon swimming upstream, and saw some seals playing in the water.
