This was such a beautiful spot in Roatan, Honduras. It was an out of the way area where there were no other people from the ship... only our guide, Juan Carlos Mejia, me, and Bill. There was a lot of volcanic rock around us, and a walkway that led to a little pavilion that had water rushing underneath it through a big cut in the rock. The locals came there to dive from the top of the pavilion into the water. What a wonderful guide Juan Carlos was. He did not speak English real well, but he tried really hard to get to know us, and told us a lot about himself and his little girl. Most people on the Honduran island of Roatan speak English, but he was originally from the mainland of Honduras where they speak mostly Spanish.
